From Calgary
Our Yoho Chalet is located 215 kms (137 miles) west of Calgary, Alberta. Take the Trans Canada Highway #1 out of Calgary and you will pass by Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise before crossing into British Columbia. Once you have passed the small village of Field, BC, proceed for another 30 kilometers (17 miles). On the right hand side of the highway you will see signage for the Beaverfoot Road and Chancellor Peak Chalets. You will take a right turn and then go through a tunnel which goes under the highway.
You will come to an immediate T intersection where you will turn left. Cross the railway tracks and proceed down the hill and over the Kicking Horse River bridge. Take the next right and you are there.
Proceed to the office of the Chancellor Peak Chalets and the on site managers will look after you.
From Vancouver
From Vancouver take the Trans Canada Highway #1 to Hope BC where you will take the Coquihalla highway to Kamloops where you will rejoin the #1 Trans Canada Highway. Proceed east, passing by Salmon Arm, Sicamous, Revelstoke and Golden BC. From Golden, proceed 30 kms. (17 miles) and turn right at the Beaverfoot Road (you will see signage for Chancellor Peak Chalets and the Beaverfoor Lodge). Cross the railway tracks and proceed down the hill and over the Kicking Horse River bridge. Take the next right and you are there.
Proceed to the office of the Chancellor Peak Chalets and the on site managers will look after you.
